My dog Cass

This is my dog Cass.  Cass is a she dog.

She gets afraid of  this 2 things, thunder and lightning as well as fire works .

Cass doesn't like being an outside dog. This was when we had got a new ranch slider and she wasn't sure why she could see inside!
Cass loves running through long grass.
Cass doesn't like water that much, she likes to drink it but not swim in it. She got brave this day and went swimming with her doggy cousin Chloe.

yesterday I went to lake Rotokare where me and my family went to check tracking tunnels.
Tracking tunnels track what goodies and baddies there is in the sanctuary.

This is me and my mum taking a selfie at home, we are wearing our new Rotokare T-shirts. I felt proud to wear it because I am a volunteer with my mum.

I hurt my wrist when I slipped over.

We found this footprint .... what do you think it is?
It's a kiwi! We found it in the mud on the side of the track.

This is me with a tracking card. I gave the cards to my mum to check. We found LOTs of wet prints. This is good, because weta are a good guy.  We also found some mice prints in 2 tunnels, which is not good as mice are bad guys

We found this hole. We think it's a probe hole, where a kiwi sticks its beak in to look for yummy food like worms and insects.

We found 2 baby robins with no bands on their legs. All the robins at Rotokare got bands on their legs last year, these robins don't have any bands so they must be BABIES! YAY!!!

Can you see the robin on the branch?

This is me and my brother Ryan having morning tea at fish bridge. We gave the fish a little nibble of peanut butter and they loved it!

These fish are special, they are called banded Kokupu and they are native to NZ.

I had a wonderful time at Lake Rotokare yesterday morning and am looking forward to going back again to do more volunteer work.

Last night I went to my granny's  house and had Mc Donalds  for dinner. When we were in bed I got our nursery rhyme book to read. I was tired after my big day at the lake.
